Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. This season

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
This season, I went all in — in training, in mindset, and in every single race. I gave everything I had.

Unfortunately, it was just a bit too early for everything to come together this weekend.
Still, I’ve improved so much — my technique, my strength, my balance — I’ve never felt this good in my body and mind.

But when your dream is the Olympics, everything needs to click at exactly the right time. And this weekend, it just wasn’t my time yet.

I’m keeping my head high and my focus forward. Next stop: European and World Cup 5 qualifiers in January.

Sometimes it feels like the party’s over just as it was getting started… but the best chapters are still ahead. 💪✨

I have been dreaming about working with Bart Schouten since he was the national team coach in Germany when I was just 16— and training with him and our fantastic team here in Calgary has been everything I hoped for… and more. ✨
